Mental Health & Counseling

PrimaryPlus-Mental Health originated in the spring of 2012, as a quest to continuously grow our service list for our patients—helping them to be healthy both physically and mentally. Our team believes in the highest level of trust, compassion and care for our patients. PrimaryPlus-Mental Health Services is a safe, soothing environment providing patients a voice, a listening ear and a friendly confidant. We are happy to provide counseling, psychiatric services, medication assessment and medication prescribing for pediatric and adults of all ages–our care spans across generations. We have also recently added ADHD Autism testing to our range of mental health services. PrimaryPlus-Mental Health also offers individual, couple, and family therapy services to our communities.

Our dedicated mental health care team consists of Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC). All staff are licensed and credentialed. In addition to counseling and medication evaluation and management, our dedicated staff provide community education seminars, serve on local boards, and participate fully in their communities-we are invested in the physical, mental and emotional health of our community.

Our LCSW and LPCC practitioners are trained in a multitude of evidence-based practices; CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Solution Focused approaches to best assist patients. Our clinicians provide a client-centered approach focused on individual treatment.
