PrimaryPlus-Ripley: Healthcare for Every Generation
PrimaryPlus-Ripley opened to the public on Monday, May 4, 2020 as part of a school-based health center project with contributions from both Ripley Union Lewis Huntington School District and Interact for Health. The 1550 square foot health center features the care of hometown girl, Carissa Kirk, APRN, who is focused on carrying out the PrimaryPlus mission of quality, advanced, affordable healthcare for all ages–moms, dads, kids, teens, tweens, grandma, grandpa and everyone in between! Although, PrimaryPlus-Ripley is located inside the walls of RULH Elementary, it offers an outside entrance (located on Catherine St.) and is open to serve everyone in the community. As a school-based health center, we offer care for the children of RULH Elementary during school hours, upon parent/guardian consent. We are here to be an added outlet of care for your child’s healthcare needs (all consents must be in place before a child can be seen during school hours).
With the ongoing need for mental health services in our region, PrimaryPlus was happy to extend our counseling services to the Ripley office. Gary Zornes, LCSW, DSW, provides compassionate, quality therapy services every Wednesday at Ripley; he also offers telehealth and additional in-person visits at our Maysville location.
This location also offers great access to many of PrimaryPlus’ extended services such as our trademarked WeCare® program for chronic disease case management, clinical pharmacy program and extended services such as dermatology care, counseling, etc.
PrimaryPlus-Pharmacy in Maysville will also offer medication delivery services directly to the patient’s home within much of Brown County (some mileage limitations may apply).
Collaborations:
Mammography: PrimaryPlus partners with St. Elizabeth to provide the mammogram every 3 months…contact our office to learn about upcoming dates.
