As previously reported, on December 3, 2024, PrimaryPlus, discovered it had been affected by an IT security incident. PrimaryPlus promptly launched an investigation, reported the incident to law enforcement, engaged a national cybersecurity firm to assist in assessing the scope of the incident, and took steps to mitigate the potential impact to the community.
The forensic investigation conducted by third-party forensic specialists recently concluded. Notably, this investigation found NO evidence that any personally identifiable or protected health information was accessed by an unauthorized individual. Accordingly, PrimaryPlus has not received any reports from individuals of misuse, identity theft or fraud related to the incident.
PrimaryPlus understands the inconvenience or concern this incident may cause and appreciates the community’s patience and understanding throughout this process. PrimaryPlus is committed to ensuring the security of all information in its control and continues to evaluate and implement additional security measures to strengthen its security posture.
