Muna Vonderheide, MSN, APRN (Women’s Health & Family Health) joined the PrimaryPlus family in September of 2014 with the opening of their Ashland location. Muna graduated with her Registered Nursing degree from Ashland Community and Technical College and later continued her education at Frontier Nursing University where she received her Master’s in Nursing as both a Women’s Health and Family Health Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified in Women’s Health by the National Certification Corporation and board certified in family practice by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Muna’s approach to healthcare is holistic believing that the mind and body are connected. It is her goal to work with her patients to take a TEAM approach (provider and patient being the key players). Prevention is also a very important component in her healthcare model. Muna offers a full-range of women’s health services for all ages spanning across generations serving daughters, mothers and grandmothers. In addition to gynecological care, PrimaryPlus-Ashland also offers prenatal care for expectant mothers and has a great partnership with UK Healthcare offering ultrasound services and high-risk obstetrics care via telemedicine.
