Our Flagship Facility: A Tradition of Care for over 40 Years

PrimaryPlus-Vanceburg is the flagship facility of the entire organization which was founded in 1983, conveniently located off the AA Hwy in Lewis County. Our local, familiar medical providers and staff help to provide comfort, a friendly voice and a family-like atmosphere–making it more like having a doctor in the family, rather than a family doctor! Services include Family Health, Diabetes Management, Counseling, Pharmacy, X-Ray/Ultrasound, Minor Emergency, Women’s Health and Dental.

PrimaryPlus is happy to work with many other healthcare organizations to bring “big city” specialty services closer to you—providing both quality and convenience.

Collaborations:

UK King’s Daughter’s Specialties: We are happy to work with UK King’s Daughter’s Medical Center’s Heart & Vascular, Pulmonology and Rheumatology teams to offer their services at our Women’s Center. The specialty services rotate every Wednesday to help make care more convenient.

Mammography: KDMC Mobile Mammography Unit visits our Vanceburg location the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month.

PrimaryPlus is proud to offer our trademarked WeCare® program at this facility utilizing a team of Medical Providers, Case Managers, Certified Diabetes Educators, Pharmacists, Dietitians and more to give a TEAM approach to chronic disease management.

Affordability

PrimaryPlus accepts most insurance, Medicare, all Kentucky Medicaid plans, OH Medicaid (CareSource & Molina) and offers a sliding fee scale for those that have NO insurance and/or are underinsured.
