About:
PrimaryPlus – Scholarship Program
PrimaryPlus- Carolyn Caseman Evans Memorial Scholarship
About Our Scholarship
The PrimaryPlus scholarship program has been active for over 20 years, while there has been changes and growth in the program, one thing has remained…the scholarship is designed to encourage and inspire our youth who wish to pursue a career in the medical field. We want to provide an outlet for building our future healthcare workforce–that once pursing their education they will want to return home to serve and care for their community. The PrimaryPlus scholarship is named in honor and memory of a great nurse, Carolyn Caseman Evans, who served the patients of PrimaryPlus with great integrity, compassion and a zest for her work. It is our hope that this scholarship program enhances the education and brings opportunity for the deserving students.
PrimaryPlus proudly offers FIVE $2,000 post-secondary education scholarships (college, university, technical school, etc.) to a high school senior within the following Kentucky counties: Lewis, Fleming, Mason, Greenup, Carter, Boyd, Bracken, Robertson, Rowan and also including Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Schools in Ohio. PLUS, we offer an additional $2,000 scholarship to a high school senior whose family member (parent/legal guardian or grandparent) is employed by the Lewis County Primary Care Center, Inc. dba PrimaryPlus organization.
