PRIMARYPLUS WELCOMES ANOTHER MEMBER TO ITS MEDICAL FAMILY...DR. CALVO SAINZ

(April 10, 2009)  After just announcing the hiring of Dr. Isabel Del Castillo de Calvo, PrimaryPlus is proud to announce the second addition to its medical family, Dr. Ignacio Felipe Calvo Sainz.  Many may be wondering, why the similarity in the “Calvo” name, that is because the two are husband and wife.

Dr. Ignacio Calvo is a graduate of Universidad Mayor de San Andres in Bolivia and continued his studies with an internship at Hospital Obrero La Paz Bolivia.  He then moved to the United States to work for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.  His endless quest for knowledge led him to start a residency program at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  Dr. Calvo has an internal medicine specialty which places focus on the study, treatment and prevention of adult diseases.

Both, he and his wife have a dedication and love for the region, living in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky since 2001.  They are excited to relocate to the historical Mason County.  Dr. Calvo will be serving as a hospitalist for PrimaryPlus physicians, helping with on-call visits and also seeing patients within the PrimaryPlus-Maysville office.
